Hi Ann,
My topic is positive psychology coaching - a type of evidence-based coaching. Being a PhD-student differs a lot depending on who hires you. Wage, funding, choices of courses, research topics, other tasks, etc. differ. So you will get much more relevant information from asking people who already work at the university where you want to apply.

I am studying for a youth impact Diploma in coaching with the coaching academy. They use the acronym called MAGIC as a tool for coaching in education. M-motivation, A- assertiveness, G-goals, I-initiative and C-communication. There is also a book I would recommend ''Sam the magic genie'' by Brian Mayne he is an expert on goal mapping very easy read but great for kids. I have four children and three of them have read it and found it really useful.
Let me know if you would like more information on this subject.

Hello Ann,

Thank you for your message! Yes it would be great if we could share some ideas about coaching and education. I haven't heard about MAGIC but I will do some research about it since you mentioned it :)
